How much can you earn?

You can earn $398 per 1-hour session or $199 per 30-minute session, with the flexibility to conduct as many sessions as you choose, allowing your earnings to quickly add up.

How it works?

We match you with individuals seeking your mentorship through detailed questionnaires or interview questions. If no one is available immediately, we will work diligently to find a suitable mentee and introduce them to these opportunities as soon as they are available. Typically, mentees request a 30-minute session, for which you will earn $199. You can participate in three of these sessions without requiring a W-9. For 1-hour sessions, you will earn $398. If your earnings total $600 or more, you will need to fill out a W-9.

There is no obligation to purchase anything from the mentee; they are genuinely seeking your feedback and learning from your expertise. After the session, you have no obligation to continue communication with the mentee. If you meet with the mentee outside of our scheduled sessions, we will not pay you for those additional meetings unless they are scheduled through us. However, you are free to work directly with them and form independent relationships.

Mentees or you may prefer not to engage in a one-on-one mentor session but instead participate by speaking jointly at a conference, webinar, or podcast. This is another type of meeting, and you will be paid for 30 minutes or one hour accordingly. If a 30-minute session extends beyond the scheduled time, you can choose to provide extra time for free. However, if you wish to be paid for the extension, you must notify the mentee and ask if they would like to continue for another 30 minutes. It is your responsibility as the mentor to provide this notice. These sessions are designed to provide genuine mentorship to help businesses grow.

You have several options for receiving the money you earn from mentoring and speaking:

Direct Payment:
We can send you a check at the end of the month with your earnings. You will need to fill out a W-9 and an independent contractor agreement if your earnings are equal to or greater than $600 for the year.

Purchase Social Lift Services:
You can use the money to purchase Social Lift services such as Connect and Get Certified, Present to Decision-Makers, and Meetings with Decision-Makers. In this case, you will still need to fill out a W-9 if your earnings are equal to or greater than $600 for the year. Additionally, you can learn more about our affiliate program and earn 10% affiliate revenue for referring business to Social Lift.

Special Events for Your Team:
Instead of cash, Social Lift can use the money to pay for a special event for your team, such as a weekend training retreat in locations like the Bahamas or Hawaii. You will still need to fill out a W-9 if your earnings are equal to or greater than $600 for the year, but you may be able to expense the money as a travel expense.

Charitable Donation:
You can choose to have Social Lift donate the money to charity in your name. In this case, you are not issued a W-9. Ensure the charity is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization.

We highly recommend working with a tax professional or accountant to ensure the arrangements are handled correctly and you maximize your tax benefits.

As a speaker with our Paid Mentor and Speaker package, you can earn $398 per 1-hour session or $199 for 30-minute sessions. You can have as many mentoring sessions as possible, allowing your earnings to quickly add up. For example, conducting five 1-hour sessions a month can earn you nearly $2,000. If $199 or $398 is not enough, we can work with you to request an increased rate and help secure clients. Additionally, if you want to set up a conference or event and invite more people to attend, we can assist in organizing it, providing further opportunities to increase your income. If your earnings total $600 or more in a year, you will need to fill out a W-9. This package offers a flexible and lucrative way to share your expertise and significantly boost your income.
